I already flip flopped them and have the OWB setup for the Ruger. Was real easy to switch and only took a few minutes.

Well I haven't had an opportunity to wear my IWB holster yet since I don't have my CCL yet but I have been wearing my OWB holster and have to say so far I have been very happy with it. The construction is great and it is very comfortable. I will try to wear the IWB around the house the next few weeks to see how it works but I think for the price of the combo deal it is well worth it!

I've been wearing mine around the past couple of weeks, and I've actually taken a liking to having it at the 3 o'clock position. It doesn't inhibit any body movement like sitting down ect. So far I'm still a fan. I've tried a couple different angles and heights, but I have yet to try the leather loops with it.

Since ordering mine I have seen several negative reviews about them but to be honest without owning to many different holsters to compare them to I have yet to find anything to complain about. Just with I had my CCL so I could wear the IWB all the time but that will be resolved soon!

Yeah I've watched some negative reviews on YouTube n such. Most of the negative reviews though to me were kind of dumb. They were picking on the littlest details. The only one I heard that i found interesting was he was saying it would be more comfortable if the shells were thinner so they could bend to your body. I don't think it's a problem with the current design, but I think it would be interesting to compare.

I don't find mine uncomfortable at all, but to each their own. Like you said Fergus, maybe it's because I haven't tried more than a dozen holsters!

Ooo and their slow shipping... I have to say I agree that it is bad..

Alien Gear says an 8 week wait time. Is it worth the wait? I've been looking at a Bianchi holster online for a Glock 19. I want to get something pretty quick.

Alien gear just won't be quick at all... They're worth getting, so if you can float getting both of them I'd say give it a try.

I'm looking into getting a second one soon, but I think I'm going to try a more standard leather holster first

I need something for my XDm, and if I get an owb alien has and an extra shell for the cpx-2, then I'd have a holster for each gun.. All in one. But like I said I wanna try a standard leather one first. I never owned one.

I'll check them out next time I'm in. I'm going to check the RDA website for an OWB for a G-19 and G-17.

Well I’ve been wearing my Alien Gear IWB Holster for a little over two months. Just to be clear, this is not a leather holster it’s a vinyl one. It does have a felt backing so it makes for easy wearing for long periods. I got two holsters from Alien Gear when I ordered, one for my XDM and another one for my XDS. I could have got a single holster and two shells (XDM/XDS) then switched back between the two.

The holster is fully adjustable, very comfortable wearing it all day and so far very durable. Was it worth the wait? If I already didn’t have an IWB for my XDM I would have went with something else.

I got mine about year ago. when Alien Gear says an 8 week wait time you need to add about 3 weeks to that. I got the one for the Sig P220 45. and the outer shell to change over to a smith and Wesson 9. and a FNH FNP 45 with light and red dot. Well made well worth the wait and if I need it for another gun I just need to order the outer shell the hoister back has the same mounting pattern. And you can't beat 30 day test drive, Free trades for life, Forever Warranty

A few days ago I ordered the "2 for Deal". One IWB the other OWB for a Glock 19. I also ordered an extra she'll for a G17. I called the order in and told the guy the only way I can order it is if they ship the OWB within 2 weeks. They said the OWB would be no problem but the IWB would be 4weeks. They won't split orders so I would have had to pay full price on both. He asked me where I live (Chicago) and started to talk about crime and gun laws, after about a 15 minute conversation about Chicago, Cook County and Illinois B.S. laws, he promised he would prioritize the order and assured me I'd have both in 10 working days. Could be he felt sorry for me that I live in Chiraq, I may have gotten lucky, just have to wait and see now. I'll update when I get the order. He also asked where I heard about Alien Gear, I told him on the Red Dot Arms forum. He also asked me about the forum, told him he should join.

Ordered on December 28th and received complete order today January 3rd. When I called in the order, they agreed to rush it but this totally caught me by surprise.

Suggestion to anyone who may want to place an order with Alien Gear, call your order in and try to engage in a friendly conversation about how messed up the gun laws are in Illinois and Chiraq.

That is crazy that you got them so fast. I was starting to think mine were never going to arrive. I will have to remember to try that if I ever order from them again!
