Yikes. Not good. I hope the students involved are given a fair shake.

RE: CCW trainers charged with felonies - XdEric - 04-06-2015

Most likely the students were not given their CCW license and have to restart the whole process. just my guess.

RE: CCW trainers charged with felonies - mikereddot - 04-07-2015

That would be my guess also.

Is he serious? He did an interview about scams while he himself was perpetrating it?

I guess that whole hide in plain site plan didn't work.

Not good! Not good! Especially in IL.

Bound to happen; just a matter of time. I'd imagine that the State froze the application as the certificates were invalid, so those applicants never got their CCW.

Something like this happened last year. An instructor had his credentials pulled. In that case, the ISP gave the students affected xx amount of time to take the training somewhere else and resubmit the new cert to their apps so they didn't have to reapply. I hope they at least get that option.

I know of someone doing this as we speak.

Good to see the system is working.
