I am curious how many of the locals on the boards have smaller children? I am really wanting to get my kids out to the range and think it would be cool if we could organize a group day at one of the local ranges. I have a few 9mm pistols that they could shoot and if someone has a 22 that would be great. Anyone interested? Would be a great outing before the end of the season at McMillers!

You should also look into a local Appleseed event. I know of two events in the area that are coming up. September 12-14 and also October 3-4.

There is the NRA Brownell's Day on Sunday Sept 27th, put on by the the Stateline Rifle Association.
Side note: SLRA is looking for new members who would be willing to help with these events.
