How Many Rounds Should A Pistol-Packer Pack? - bradberry - 03-15-2017 I know that I usually have two full magazines. One in the gun and one in the glove box or center console. May not be enough? http://gunsmagazine.com/spare-ammo/ RE: How Many Rounds Should A Pistol-Packer Pack? - The Sheriff - 03-15-2017 33 rounds fired before a hit? I would invest in more training first. I would have thought that 40 rounds of .45ACP would be enough of a single gunman. Sounds more like spray and pray than aimed fire. I do understand the concept though. I recently added a new FNS-9C compact version that has 12+1 and 17 round backup mags. I still like the Ruger LC9S but with 7+1 and 9 round backup mag. I felt it might be pushing it. 17 rounds v. 30 rounds. If I carry 2 mags it is 26 v. 47. It is nice to have options. I have to wonder where those other 32 rounds the officer fired went, not to mention the bad guy who fired off a bunch too. |
