Plus the extra cost and burden on the justice system. Better off to protect yourself and if they get into your home, based upon your local laws and the suspected course of action of the thugs, SHOOT THEIR A$$! Or at least shut them down for the authority's. Or if you live in Portland, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, invite them in for tea, coffee or to join you in some type of strange ritual you may be partaking in.
