He didn't obtain it legally nor go through the many background checks that it takes to get a automatic. Get ready for the AR-15 ban outcry. We need to remind people that weapons can be made out of anything. Even a 3D printer.

I heard they guy was rich, I also heard that he had a fully automatic AK47. People today have far more knowledge of how to make firearms full auto. Used to be only gunsmiths had that kind of knowledge. 3D printers will make future guns even easier to make. Firearms are inanimate objects. Inanimate objects have never committed a crime to my knowledge. Fear of inanimate objects is a known mental illness. Full automatic weapons are illegal in Illinois. Do you feel protected by that law? Do you feel protected by the Federal Law? Sorry, but you cannot stop knowledge or evil people, except with force.

Some people are saying that he might have did some Bump firing of an AR-15.
