training and games for handguns - Ringo3632 - 09-17-2014 Anybody have any good training drills or games to help improve your pistol shooting? In the Utah class we were talking about the ball and dummy drill, the negative target drill, and when I was shooting with Steve he showed us a small game with a target that has numbers on it and you have to wait and shoot at the number your partner calls out. I was thinking of combining the last game with the ball and dummy drill. Any other strategies you guys like? RE: training and games for handguns - The Great Oz - 09-17-2014 Something you can try when you have a target retrieval system like Bass pro, is to put the target out at 45 feet, get ready, have it come back to zero while shooting. Be careful to not rapid fire, or they'll get angry. Take some of our advance classes, you'll have a "blast"
RE: training and games for handguns - Ringo3632 - 09-17-2014 Not only does that sound like a good time, it's practical too! Easiest way so far too practice with a moving target. And I'll put the advanced class on my to do list. I need the second Illinois cc class and the shot gun class first. After my wallets recovered from those and the Mossberg 535 I'm getting from red dot I'll find a date. Haha |
