New Walther CCP - RJDSRT - 06-12-2014 Got to handle (didn't shoot) a new Walther CCP! First impression was that it is very NOT Walther-ish, except for the mag release. It has a striking resemblance to the Springfield XDS, and handles about the same. I think the Springfield provided some inspiration for the Walther team. The edge that the CCP has is being available in the 40 caliber, which I imagine Springfield will offer the XDS in at some point. I am curious to see how the CCP handles the snappy .40 round, I don't imagine it is any worse than the XDS45. Does anyone here have the CCP yet? If so... when can we set up a range time?
RE: New Walther CCP - MMR226 - 06-12-2014 i personally have not owned any walthers but i have to say all of the ones i have fired have had AWESOME triggers. even that BUTT UGLY PPX we had in the shop. such a clean break. RE: New Walther CCP - RJDSRT - 06-13-2014 yea that unfortunate looking thing did have a pretty decent trigger! RE: New Walther CCP - RunNgun - 06-14-2014 I have not seen one yet but mabe next time im at a shop ill see if they have 1 RE: New Walther CCP - Brian S - 07-23-2015 I started going through every post on the forum starting from "General Tech Questions" on down. I read about the CCP here when I first joined the forum. I recently became interested in the CCP and started to post in under another subject. RE: New Walther CCP - BelieveIn308 - 07-27-2015 Yeah, I have been wanting to try a Walther PPQ 22LR. It is supposed to be the same size as the 9mm, with an internal hammer, but the same good trigger. I have you guys seen one of these? Can you dry fire a 22LR with an internal hammer? So much to learn. |
