I carry to be prepared. I have never been involved in a conflict to where I would need a weapon. But with what happens everyday, I want to be prepared to protect my family and myself. I don't think you can just say I live in a good neighborhood anymore. You have to go out sometime. And even people who live in good neighborhood get burglarized or worse.
