The 870 is a good gun, I shoot one with an after market Monte Carlo stock. I see quite a few guys shooting league with them. How are you holding the gun when you pull back the fore grip? Are you holding it with the ejection port facing up? I normally have the gun at a 45 degree angle and turned slightly so the ejection port isn't facing anyone when I eject a shell. That way I don't tag the guy next to me and the normally land in front of me so I can keep track if his many rounds I fired at the position. I would want to go I just need to figure out what days I am free, Saturday works a lot better for me.
I brought my own ammo at first, but bought a box of theirs; price seemed reasonable to me.
I ejection, I recall the gun was level and not tilted. I'll have to be more observant on that next time.
Saturdays are generally open for me with advance notice; preferable a week or so in advance.
