Hi. I've had this pistol since Nov 2013; so warranty is over I think....darn! That being said, have you guys had any experience with trigger failures on this gun?

It only has say about 500 rounds through since I bought it, so it shouldn't be a wear problem. It progressive has gotten worse and now its double action as well as single action is totally gone. I took the grip panels off and cleaned things up a bit, and I see not apparent breakage including the spring. Seems intact to me!

I can bring it by this weekend, but before I do, I just wanted to see if this has been something you've seen before.

Thanks.

Hi,
So far, I haven't had anyone come in with this issue. I did some research on Bersa's website, and it seems that even though the warranty may be expired, Bersa may still repair it for no charge for you. We'd be more than happy to look at it first, if you'd like to drop it off with us. If it's something that we can't fix easily or cheaply for you, we can send it off to Bersa. Hope this helps. Happy shooting!

I took the grips off and saw the trigger arm and the washer that holds it to the hammer mechanism. I popped off the washer and then it worked fine. So I'm thinking it was too much pressure causing it to stick. I lubed it up and that sort of helped. Now the tiny fastener clip has popped off and it's gone. I'll need a replacement. I am waiting for a response from Bersa / Eagle on getting a replacement. However, you probably have parts galore. I may just swing by your place first. Thanks.

Unfortunately, we don't really stock parts that are specific to particular models. Generally we only have more universal parts in stock, everything else we order. A part like that, you're probably better off getting it from Bersa. Have a good one.

OK..I'm a newbie on this. The problem with this gun seems more serious than just a missing part. The trigger now is totally inoperable, and I suspect it may be a warranty repair.

For shipping, would it be best to have an FFL like yourselves handle the shipping for me? One website I see has complicated information about which carriers allow me to send a gun in the mail.

That's assuming my repair is a warranty repair. Do you handle those, too?

Thanks.

Update: since Bersa has a limited lifetime warranty, I identified local Bersa repair locations and found that Gander Mountain in Kenosha, has a gunsmith. I dropped it off Saturday and I just got a call this morning it was ready! Wow!

Issue: Ejector Pin had shifted so that it rubbed against adjacent parts causing the trigger to malfunction. Simple fix, but common on theses guns. Warranty repair.

I should add that this is a typical problem with BTs and is well known and should be a quick fix by a gunsmith.
