Well if you do get a present, you have to let me know your opinion. I have always replaced my triggers with Giessele SSA-E triggers on all my AR type weapons. I love them, but they cost near double that price.

Just ordered it. On special for $99 plus I bought a set of KNS pins. 90% of the reviews I have read are very favorable. Will see!

Well its in my hands and operating it without putting it in a lower yet, it does give me the feel that it is a nice clean trigger. Hopefully today it will make its way into one of my rifles. Unfortunately today I have to remove an engine and tranny out of my sons truck so the install may have to wait until tomorrow.

Well the removal of the engine/transmission was pushed back by a few hours so I did have time in install the new trigger. Since parts are swapable I decided that the lucky recipient of this new trigger was going to be my 24" SS fluted barrel unit with an Anderson lower and upper. I really wanted a two stage on this rifle but it was the first one I grabbed in the safe.
It literally took less than 30 minutes (if that) to swap out. Once I pulled out the old trigger, the RA 140 SST dropped right in with no issues. Glad I purchased the KNS Gen 2 Mod 2 Non-Rotating Trigger/Hammer Pins .154. They made the install that much easier.
First impressions were spot on. At a price of $99.00, this trigger is not a Geissele or Timney. This single stage trigger does not pretend to be one but for the money, I will be buying two more. The pull is rated at 3.5#'s and since I have not bought trigger pull gauge to confirm this, I will take them at their words. It is not gritty or rough just a 3.5# clean break. I would not say its a candy break but it is clean. Put your finger on the trigger and pull. I really did not notice any travel. it was just pull and fire. Can't wait to get it to the range.
Like I stated above for the price, I will be buying at least two more.

I love the Geissele triggers (especially the SSA-E), but they are costly. To me they are worth every penny, as I use them in all my AR type platforms. In my rifles, a clean break. I've never had an issue with them, and they can really put lead down range in a semi-automatic.

I love em' also. This was a good deal on a nice trigger that I could not pass up and I am glad I didn't. Geissele triggers have always been my go to trigger. But unless you try others you will never know what else is out there and for $99.00, it was a heck of a deal.
