What brand of firearm will you never buy and why.
And, you can't say for example, "Glock cause the stink"...has to be a good reason.

I like the brand but the firearm not so much. So I'll list my worst firearm in my collection and that would go to the Ruger Mark III. Simple, just because of the cleaning. I love shooting it but the cleaning is a PITA.
No problem with the Ruger SR22.

Hmm... I'd have to say hi point.. Mostly because my brothers tales of using his friends, and a few different articles on them.
Not to set they're garbage, just doesn't seem like something I'd invest in

I could see that, and also I think it's stupid how they made them illegal and why.... But I already have a sweet Sccy pistol though that would probably be the pack gun, or loaner to an unarmed friend = p I love having that thing. It's been good to me so far.

I'm not sure I have a brand I would outright avoid. I'm open to purchasing any brand as long as that particular firearm sitting in front of me is of good quality.
That being said, Taurus/Rossi are brands I'm wary off because of reviews and other people's stories. Asked to see a Rossi revolver a couple of months ago and the cylinder dropped out before it was handed to me.

Probably mil surplus rifles. I buy them and it seems like a good time, but the sites are always way out of whack. So they just sit in the safe.

I have with one. And the other two would either need to have new sites bought or need to alter the gun. I don't shoot them enough to warrent that.

Now wait a minute....Glock don't stink unless they smell of burnt gun powder or cleaning solution and thats an odor I love to smell.

I don't do Glocks. I haven't liked them since I first handled a G17 gen 1. I don't like the feel of them or their lack of some form of manual safety. In short "Glocks stink!" I will never own one.

Because sometimes a rifle round isn't the optimal solution. These serve the same purpose as a PDW/SMG, especially if it's a SBR.

I really don't have much use for semi-auto SMG/PDW. Once again WHY? I can understand full auto. It is just something I cannot think of a scenario in which this a good choice.

There actually are a couple good purposes that they serve.
One is for people who due to some injury can't use a full rifle round for hunting. My brother-in-law injured his shoulder real bad and can't use a rifle round for hunting. Instead he uses either a 9mm or .45 ACP carbine. Both work for dropping white tails.
The second is for interior home defense against multiple intruders. In a chaotic situation the carbines increased ammo capacity can be a benefit. There is also the penetration factor. A 9mm is much less likely to over-penetrate through multiple walls and injure an innocent by-stander. Police in Russia have started to trade their AKMs and AK-74Ms for 9mm Saiga carbines, both semi and full auto versions, for that very reason.
