Got to handle (didn't shoot) a new Walther CCP! First impression was that it is very NOT Walther-ish, except for the mag release. It has a striking resemblance to the Springfield XDS, and handles about the same. I think the Springfield provided some inspiration for the Walther team. The edge that the CCP has is being available in the 40 caliber, which I imagine Springfield will offer the XDS in at some point. I am curious to see how the CCP handles the snappy .40 round, I don't imagine it is any worse than the XDS45. Does anyone here have the CCP yet? If so... when can we set up a range time? Big Grin

I started going through every post on the forum starting from "General Tech Questions" on down.

I read about the CCP here when I first joined the forum. I recently became interested in the CCP and started to post in under another subject.

Yeah, I have been wanting to try a Walther PPQ 22LR. It is supposed to be the same size as the 9mm, with an internal hammer, but the same good trigger. I have you guys seen one of these? Can you dry fire a 22LR with an internal hammer? So much to learn.
